Monopolar radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound work together to support collagen, elastin and natural hyaluronic acid production. A needle-free approach to skin quality and firmness.
Typically little interruption to your routine; temporary warmth or redness may occur.
Discuss this treatment
Radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound address selected areas of skin laxity. Where appropriate, your clinician can also consider a body-contouring protocol for localised fat.
Treatment can feel warm. Settings, treatment time and recovery depend on the area and protocol.

Fine needles deliver radiofrequency beneath the skin’s surface to support remodelling. Explore an individual plan for texture, wrinkles and the appearance of selected scars or stretch marks.
Unlike the non-invasive applicators, this treatment involves needles. Allow for redness, swelling and recovery; anaesthetic may be used.

EXION is a BTL treatment platform with different applicators for different concerns. Face and Body combine radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound. Fractional RF is a separate microneedling treatment. Your consultation establishes which approach is appropriate.
No. EXION Face and Body use applicators at the skin’s surface. EXION Fractional RF uses microneedles to deliver radiofrequency and has a different preparation and recovery process.
The Face applicator combines radiofrequency with targeted ultrasound to stimulate the skin’s own response, including natural hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin production. This is not a hyaluronic acid injection or a dermal filler treatment.
The number and spacing depend on your concern, chosen applicator and response. We recommend a personal course following assessment and explain the full price before you decide.
Face and Body treatments usually feel warm, with sensation varying by area and settings. Fractional RF can cause discomfort and may involve topical anaesthetic. Your practitioner monitors your comfort and adjusts the plan as appropriate.
Non-invasive Face and Body treatments generally involve little interruption, although temporary warmth, redness or tenderness can occur. Fractional RF may cause redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding or crusting and requires specific aftercare. Your clinician explains the expected recovery for your treatment.
Changes develop gradually over the weeks after treatment, with progress often reviewed around three months after a course. The extent, timing and duration of improvement vary from person to person.
Selected EXION Body protocols can address localised fat alongside skin firmness. It is not a weight-loss treatment and does not build muscle. If muscle tone is your priority, ask the clinic about a separate treatment plan.
A clinician may consider both where your goals involve skin quality and facial muscle support. They use different technologies and should be planned together following assessment, including your previous treatments and medical history. A combined plan is not suitable for everyone.
Your clinician reviews your skin, medical history, pregnancy or breastfeeding, implants, medicines, active skin problems and previous procedures. Possible risks include pain, burns, swelling and pigment changes; Fractional RF also carries risks such as infection, scarring, unwanted fat loss and nerve injury. Assessment and individual consent are required before treatment.
